I ordered a large bouquet from Appleyard for Mothers Day and they sent me the wrong medium size. Annoying as it was too late for the day, but they did refund me the cost of the flowers plus extra for postage. I've since spent my credit sent someone a bouquet which died within 4 days. Again I've complained and this time they're sending a replacement. I would not use this company again, and I recommend you don't either.

Had an issue with the Website and did not recieve confirmation email, contacted and was all sorted out for me rather quickly. Flowers arrived and really beautiful.

My husband bought a subscription for me, beginning in mid-February. The first delivery was sensational - lovely flowers in peak condition. The March offer (which coincided with Mother's Day) was a letterbox arrangement and the flowers were well past their best, to put it very politely. He complained and received store credit + £10, as per the guarantee. In fairness, this was a straightforward and quick response from the company. This week the next delivery arrived. A lily was damaged and had lost a couple of buds - a shame as it was clearly meant to be one of the main blooms in the arrangement. Today, 5 days later, the flowers are droopy, well past their best and fit only for the composter. Yes, we can complain again and will probably get the credit, however this subscription is meant to be a treat and not require follow-up actions every month. I would rather pick up a premium arrangement at the supermarket, pay less and be sure that the quality is good. The two stars are because the first arrangement was good. The others would barely merit one star.

You cannot imagine how difficult it was for me to find good quality flowers and champagne available for delivery.A friend was getting married and because of lockdown restrictions I couldn't give a gift in person. So the first things that appealed to me as suitable was a delivery of flowers and champagne!Thank goodness for Appleyard. Arrived in good condition and ON TIME!Lovely range of flowers and accompanying bottles of bubbles. I have no complaints, I absolutely know where to come to next time around.


Delivered on time and the flowers last. Great communication when I needed to confirm delivery dates due to my work commitments. My wife loves that she gets a different bouquet each month.

Order was easy to submit. Changing the order date was so easy via live chat - one of the best live chats I've ever experienced. Tracking was fantastic - it told me exactly how many delivery spots before me plus regular email updates. Roses were BEAUTIFUL. I would improve by getting a telephone and giving am or pm time slots as it was hard work keeping my girlfriend in the house all day waiting for the delivery and it was a tea time spot so a long day ha! 8/10

My replacement plant is lovely!! Very pleased with it.


Appleyard delivered a bunch of flowers from my son for Mothers Day. The flowers and foliage were turning brown and the stems were slimy. Had obviously not been packed that day. Messaged Appleyard with complaint and 6 days later no response. Appalling flowers and customer service.

My daughter sent 100 daffodils with appleyard for mothers day. She paid top money for them, paid extra for that day delivery and extra for a vase. They sent half a dozen hyacinths tied in a black ribbon and a vase they didn't fit into. Do not order from this company check out their facebook page for other bad reviews.
